Christy Left Scars
An Angus Reid poll finds that Jim Horgan's NDP holds a commanding lead in British Columbia.
The numbers show NDP at 48 per cent. The BC Libs at 29. The Greens at 14 and the provincial Conservatives at 8.
Horgan would love to call a snap election and consign the Libs to the rubbish heap only people don't want to go to the polls, not with Covid-19 rebounding in the province.
It's sort of fitting that a viral pandemic would be the saving grace for the party of Christy Clark and Gordon Campbell. That's about all they have going for them and I'm no supporter of Horgan either.

People do ot want to go to the polls.
Nobody has ever asked me. Going to the polls has never been a chore to me. What is chore is the deluge of bafflegab that precedes the election.
While I can't argue with your post I think her predecessor, Gordon Campbell, did far more damage. He did his best to wreck and sell off the pieces of BC's public corporations, BC Ferries, BC Hydro, BC Rail, ICBC, BC Ambulance, etc. What he couldn't get rid of he damaged in one form or another. Fortunately, he was not able to do as much damage as he wanted. Still, the scars are there.
Nobody asked you, Steve? Really? People aren't averse to an election because it's a chore. They don't want an election while the pandemic is resurgent. I had thought I pointed that out.
I get your point, Toby. But for sheer criminality I think Gordo was, at best, second place.
The things people get away with in the name of democracy is so dysfunctional.

True, both times.
