Donald Trump wants Americans to believe. He wants Americans to believe he alone is to be believed. He wants Americans to believe that the others are all liars.
Journalists are liars. His former associates are liars. Scientists are liars. America's medical experts are liars. The nations generals are, you guessed it, liars. Anyone who doesn't agree with him, they're liars. Those who criticize him, they're real liars. Women who say he molested, even raped them - liars. Porn stars he paid off to buy their silence, liars. Creditors he stiffed, sure, liars.
Bob Woodward is about to release his second book on Trump, "Rage." He's a liar too. Woodward's claim that Trump admitted, at the outbreak of Covid-19 that it was a really deadly virus and that he downplayed it to avert panic - well that's just a damnable lie. What, Woodward's got Trump on tape saying just that? It's still a lie.
“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said in a Feb. 7 call. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu.”Fake news, a hoax, a total lie.
“This is deadly stuff,” the president repeated for emphasis.

For 70 days Trump mislead the American people. A lot of the Gullibillies still believe him. Meanwhile, with the pandemic apparently staging a comeback, the dreaded second wave, the American death toll has passed 190,000. A lot of those deaths lie at Trump's feet.
