NDP Candidate Dares to Speak the Truth - And Is Promptly Dropped.

In Tommy Angry Beard's NDP there'll be no straight talk about Israel and its steady atrocities against Palestinian civilians in the prison camp commonly known as Gaza.  There'll be no loose talk about war crimes and certainly no mention of Dahiyeh. That might cost votes.

In a gaffe that sounded like something Noam Chomsky might say (and he has), candidate Morgan Wheeldon posted a Facebook entry claiming it was arguable that Israel was seeking to ethnically cleanse Gaza and even used the dreaded words, "war crime."

That sort of talk was for the old NDP, the party that used to speak truth to power, not today's NDP, the party that won't let principle stand in the way of grubbing for every vote it can get.

Update:

LeDaro has posted two interesting clips. One is of Jimmy Carter, the other a British MP, Gerald Kaufman.  Good thing neither of them is an NDP candidate. Mulcair would have them both axed.

And that is how far Mulcair and his followers have debased the New Democratic Party.

Mulcair is a coward!

I figure Mulcair is just another craven opportunist, a guy who proclaims himself principled yet repeatedly shows how readily he will follow whatever path he believes leads to his goal.

Well, Ron, apparently you've read a book on Keynesian economics but it's obvious you've never read any law books or statutes or conventions, such as the Geneva Conventions. If you had you would have understood the laws of war and the laws that govern military occupation of conquered territories and, but for that profound ignorance, you wouldn't consider calling the state of Israel's atrocities war crimes even remotely radical.

But for America's veto on the Security Council, Israel and its leaders would have been hauled up on the carpet long ago.

So best you stick to stuff you imagine you know, Ron, and stay out of stuff about which you haven't a clue.

Okay, Waller, I think it's time you found another blog to spew your nonsense.

First of all I did courses in economics, in both macro and micro. Because of scheduling problems I wasn't able to take the courses for arts students. I had to do the courses for the commerce kids in the business faculty. I was first in one, in the top three in the other. I was a pretty good student - Dean's List honours every semester, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum.. I came out with a 3.94 grade point that might have been higher but for a severe motorcycle accident in my second to last semester.

You have an irritating habit of making up facts where none exist. It's called fabrication, bullshit if you like. During the last Gaza assault, Elizabeth May denounced it from the outset. Mulcair, ever the greaseball opportunist, courted the Jewish vote by defending Israel's right to defend itself and only turned somewhat against the atrocities at the very end. Sort of like C-51. May alone was against it from the outset with clear, cogent reasons.

I don't give a damn that you're willing to consider that Israel committed war crimes. What you consider is utterly irrelevant to me.

I'm tired of doing this lame dance with you Waller. I guess I should figure out if I can block further comments.

Just go away, Waller. I don't want to debate anything with you, nothing at all. Surely there's some other place, somewhere, that someone might indulge in your level of "debate." Be gone, stay gone.

Here's the deal, Ron. Posting comments here is subject to my consent. I don't consent to you posting comments here. I have a little button that lets me get rid of your wearisome remarks. It's a bit like swatting flies but - if that's what it takes.

Well "Mound", you may be a corrupt blowhard ignoramus who wastes more time ranting online than anyone else I came across, but I'll give you this: you let met pound your dick in the dirt long enough before banning my comments. So that must stand for something.

Have a nice day. :)

You're all class, Waller. I'll leave that one up so everyone can figure out why you're banned from this blog.
