Republican candidates for president have often taken a get-tough approach on deterring illegal immigration, but they usually focus on the border with Mexico. Walker was asked Sunday morning on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether he wanted to build a wall on the northern border, too. Walker said some people in New Hampshire have asked the campaign about the topic.
“They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at,” Walker said.
The U.S.-Canada boundary is the longest international border in the world at 5,525 miles long.
And thus we see just how batshit crazy those vying for the Republican nomination have to act to come up to the standards of Trump and Tea Party Americans.

I have often thought that the first big mistake Canada chose was to drive on the right side of the road and the second adopting daylight saving time.
Canada's relationship with the US is unhealthy. We are like a whiny brat currying the favours of a neighbourhood bully. Our relationship with the US is too close. Now, I don't mean to suggest that Americans are bad people; that's not the point. Canada should learn to take care of itself.
We don't need a physical wall with the US but we do need to protect our interests. The recent requirement to carry passports in order to cross the border is a good step. Passports help to teach people on both sides that we have two distinct countries.
It's hard to argue that Canada's relations with the U.S. are often detrimental. You might find that explored in my next post on neoliberalism.
Anyong said......this is nothing but a "Jesus Christ what next" comment. The US is becoming more and more sickening everyday.
