Because I Stumbled upon This Just Before BedTime
And, because, as today's events in Syria gave us a glimpse into how easily this all could unravel, it's just a tad therapeutic. It gets your mind off Sarajevo.
I was teaching in Campbell River last month. As I walked by the bank to the laundromat on a Saturday, a man in a ten gallon hat with a guitar and a harmonica sang this in a voice like Bob Dylan's. Alas, when I came out from stuffing quarters in dryers, he was gone.
