Trump to Honour Limbaugh with Medal of Freedom

I suppose it makes sense. One degenerate, racist bigot with a mile-wide streak of cruelty would choose to bestow a high honour on another degenerate, racist bigot who also displays a mile-wide streak of cruelty.

Donald Trump says he'll award America's Medal of Freedom to self-inflicted lung cancer victim, Rush Limbaugh.

Well, Trump gave Julius Streicher the Medal of Freedom at last night's State of the Union. I take this as a sign that Rush isn't expected to live long enough for a proper ceremony.

"Streicher" is a bit of a 'stretch' (Nuremberg joke) but I can faintly make out the parallels, Cap.

Well, it's like a living nightmare with Trump anyway. The State of the Union speech was an amazing load of BS delivered by a completely out-of-his head human who is obviously delusional. I think Pelosi is about as trustworthy as a garter snake, but the look on her face said it all. We have a very sick man in charge, where in hell is CIA Black Ops. It's embarrassing for the US to have this guy "running" things making the country look totally foolish. And the Repugs cheered and slapped their desks. This isn't politics, If Trump were to be actually tested and found clinically not to be a raving loony, no doubt about who should win the Oscar for best actor, and indeed the Lifetime Award.

And we have the audacity to refer to ourselves as 'civilized'!
What a crock of conceited balderdash!

On the subject of Trump's "acquittal" it strikes me that this whole thing may have been a major crime. The senators were sworn in as jurors by the Chief Justice. Roberts did that fully aware that a majority had no intention of honouring their oaths. He knew that the Senate majority leader had announced, from the outset, that he would be co-ordinating (i.e. corrupting) the trial with the very man they were to try. We know that Republican senators, or at least those deemed least reliable, were subject to pressures and threats.

Surely, if nothing else, that's jury tampering. The Chief Justice knew or ought to have known of it. What did he imagine he was supposed to be doing in presiding over the trial of Donald J. Trump?
