The Cavendish Cottager Takes the Stand. Duffy Fights Back?

The life and times of Michael Dennis Duffy is getting top billing at Ottawa's courthouse today.  Duffy is on the stand and he's taking the court and spectators on a trip down Memory Lane.

Kadey O'Malley is live blogging the event.

Update:

There's certainly some interesting reading in O'Malley's posts. It's pretty obvious that, in true Don Bayne fashion, Duffy's testimony is going to be relaxed and extensive and, yes, that's code for "long winded."

Yet we see a few subtle digs. For example, Duffy testifies that Harper never directly told his minions to do things. He had his staffers relay his orders to protect Harper's plausible deniability.

So far Duffy's testimony has touched on Harper, Wright, Senators Wallin, Tkachuk, Stewart-Olsen and Lebreton. I wonder where this is heading but it sure sounds foundational.

Mound, Cavendish is my favourite place for vacations. Too bad Duffy has given it a bad name.

I hope Trudeau's attempt to reform Senate will work.
