NASA has announced another climate change-driven "new normal." This time it's the sharp increase in the number, size and intensity of western wildfires.

and U.S. Forest Service officials, who have been using satellites to
analyze weather patterns and better predict each wildfire season, said
the new pattern is likely here to stay.

Look who just spoke up! Canada's progressive party, the NDP, just released a statement in support of ForestEthics Advocacy's lawsuit challenging the Harper government's new energy rules.
"New Democrats are dismayed that Canadian citizens have had to resort to taking the Harper government to court to restore their fundamental right to speak out on issues that impact us all."
