McCain Dies.

John McCain has succumbed to brain cancer at age 81. A far from perfect man with a sometimes mercurial temper, McCain nevertheless even in death towers over his sordid adversary and frequent antagonist, Donald Trump.

With the Arizona senator's death, his Senate colleague Lindsey Graham will soldier on without any trace of his balls.

McCain specifically directed that Trump was not to be welcomed to attend his funeral. Obama will attend along with Bush Jr. and Clinton. McCain's friend of many years, Joe Biden, will also attend.

What about his VP running-mate, Caribou Barbie? I hear she delivers a eulogy that'll raise the dead!

Uncommoner, you're not remotely near the end and you're definitely a piece of shit already. By the way, Trump - and his acolytes - blow dead bears.

John McCain . . . not a very quotable man, and the one that always springs to my mind does him little credit: "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran!"
That he didn't lately seem like the dangerous, erratic warmonger he was is largely a credit to the American political scene making room for still greater monsters.

Jesus, I don't comment too often but I have never see so many comments taken away.
I don't think McCain was really for the common ham and egger person in the states, he was part of an old boys club that sucked off the public purse as hard and as long as he could.
The only good thing he did I am aware of is the thumbs down on getting rid of Obama care and he did that to piss off Trump.

Ken, I told those guys if they wanted to slag McCain to shop that shit somewhere else. My blog, my rules. I'm pretty tolerant of comments I don't always appreciate but when I draw a line, that's it.

Why any one would want to slag some one who was dead is beyond me. If you can't say anything nice about the dead, shut up. Saying negative, nasty things about McCain, upon his death, makes some one no better than Trump and his ilk.

McCain, for all his flaws was a good American. He did his duty as he saw it, served in the military and then went into politics. He replaced Barry Goldwater, upon his retirement. People may not have liked his politics, but he was able to reach across the divide to do work. You don't have to agree with someone's politics to admire the work they did upon behalf of their country.

As to his thumbs down, some may say he did it to piss off Trump, but then it really doesn't always matter why someone does something good, just as long as they do. We don't truly know what motivated McCain to give it the thumbs down, but for me, it was an iconic moment in American history.

Everyone dies. McCain lived to a good age. The U.S.A. will be poorer for his not being there.

No, it won't.

When it comes to a comparison between evil old warmonger McCain and Trump, the only way the former "towers over" the latter is in the amount of blood on his hands--at least to date.
