Everyone Needs to See This.

Watch the video in slow motion. This puts paid to Angry Tom's fury and Brousseau's feigned martyrdom. It's all on the video once you get it slowed down. Dippers, you might not want to watch this - but you should.

.. yes, the hysterical historic ElbowGate vid.. the visual Hansard

Unfortunately for Peter Van Loan - a faithful Harper toadling.. he's right there too.. beside Niki Ashton, who's resplendant in NDP orange

“I was witness to an extraordinary example of just such physical intimidation by no less than the first minister of this country. I witnessed as he strode across the floor, with anger fierce in his eyes and face,” he said in a speech in Parliament. “What took place was the prime minister physically grabbing people, elbowing people, hauling them down the way.”

He never even looked up.. certainly did not see Trudeau's gallop up the center aisle.. he missed the moment.. had to watch the same video we saw, to see what happened. Never no matter eh? So he fabricated his experience.. for his tremulous Speech to Parliament - hell.. to Canadians, to the World. If they do hold an investigation, an inquiry, a waste of time and money.. Peter Van Loan goes up in smoke.. but then, he's immune right? And 'honorable' ... ...

One wonders where mainstream media has been. In the past CBC and others would have put their techs on the job. Why not now?

The Rape-of-Ruth deserves a full on investigation from all angles. There is a 'flash' of a reverse angle at about 1:50. Is there a full version from that angle too?

In fact this Brosseau brouhaha reminds me of the poor Prince of Saud who somehow managed to fall with his zipper open and make carnal contact with some unfortunate passer-by.

Yeah, I think we should all post this video to our blogs. Of course the "bearded one" standing beside Brousseau is none other than Angry Tom. What a piece of garbage.

Mulcair is certainly living up to the 'Angry Tom' label. Kinda funny watching JT stride across the House in about 3 steps to break up AT's little blockade. JT must be getting sick of all of AT's little games. You get the feeling JT was thinking "Oh fuck that. I'm not going to let that little weasel get away with that." 2 seconds later he's escorting the Con whip out of AT's blockade.

I think all the talking head pundits are just as pathetic as AT. I'm getting sick of all their pompous blathering. On the off chance they are not shoveling agenda-driven bullshit for their establishment masters, they are manufacturing bland commentary with little insight. (Obviously they're getting paid the double-salary for the former, not the latter.)

Thomas Walkom said JT's move would be popular essentially because the people are dumb brutes. But in reality, I think people are simply tired of all the lies from the establishment and their pet journalists, economists and politicians. It's like this is the first real thing to have happened in the House in decades.

I say fuck decorum. We need someone to tear up the House. Tear up the establishment. Their days are numbered. This neoliberal bullshit they foisted on society is absolutely disgraceful. They basically helped themselves to $500-billion in government debt with free-money tax cuts. And that is not even the half of it. So fuck them, fuck their decorum, fuck their ridiculous idea of economics and fuck their henpecking little hand-puppets. We are coming for you assholes!!

Come to think of it, Trudeau acted like a teacher in front of a bunch of little children. And that is exactly what these MPs on the floor were...

They are all pathetic. I suppose this is why we have an unelected senate, a sober second thought.

The NDP MPs did not block Gordon Brown, the Conservative whip. Brown said so himself. He also said that he did not appreciate Trudeau coming to grab him. The vote had not even been called yet, so the MPs were not required to be in their seats yet.

“What happened is, that as I was trying to start the vote, the prime minister grabbed my arm. I immediately told the prime minister to let go of me — now,” said Brown.

“Immediately afterward, the prime minister went back down the aisle of the House to confront other members of Opposition parties,” he added.

“I later told the Prime Minister he should NOT have gotten out of his seat,” Brown said (emphasis his).

He can say anything he likes - now - but the video doesn't seem to back him up. I think Dana got it right. Sorry.
