Donald Trump doesn't know how to shut his big, fat, greasy mouth.
Today Trump tweeted, "Obama is a terrible negotiator. He bails out Chrysler and now Chrysler wants to send all Jeep manufacturing to China--and will!”
Chrysler vice-president of design and president of the Dodge division, Ralph Gilles, fired back: "You are full of shit!"
Gilles later apologized for his choice of words but added, "lies are just that, lies."

Chrysler has been a hell of a success story, recently. It's no wonder the neo-conservatives down South are doing their best to attack it (which reminds me of the Rovian political rule: attack your opponent's strength, and try to discredit it).
As emptywheel recently noted, too, the new Chrysler model of business is far from the Romney model of business. http://www.emptywheel.net/2012/10/30/italian-automakers-bring-about-chrysler-success-after-gop-private-equity-failure/
My goodness! What! A company can succeed by handling its business, rather than selling off its most profitable resources? I don't know what to say to that.
It's amazing, isn't it Troy? Trump, it turns out, is just aping Romney/Ryan talking points, a polite term for "lies."
Interesting item in yesterday's NYT. It dealt with the great number of Romney supporters who appreciate he's constantly lying to them about just about everything but still intend to give him their vote.
Romney, according to the article, realizes there is no downside to his chronic, persistent lying and it will effectively dupe unquestioning minds.
How bizarre can U.S. electoral politics get?
