Stephen Fry's Excellent Take on Being Gay

There really is nothing to add to this wonderful statement by English actor Stephen Fry on being proud to be gay.

How can anyone listen to this and not be nauseated by the homophobes in our world?

How can one compare one's pride in their nationality or heritage with one's sexual orientation?

Do heterosexuals feel proud of being heterosexual? I've never heard of it because basing your identity on whom you decide to sleep with is absurd.

And what is it about homosexuality that is supposed to inspire pride? Or even reverence? The massive victimhood chip they carry around that pokes every second person in the eye?

How long must we allow identity politics to undermine national solidarity?

Hi Dota. I read your comment and wondered what crawled up your ass and died. Then I found your web page and the answer.

Thank you for your delightful response Mound of Sand. However, if you've looked at my conservative website then you'd know that out of the two of us, you're the one far more likely to have something up his ass than I.

Good day my liberal friend.
