Actually, PLG, they're more than edible- they're awesome. Unfortunately most tiger prawns are farm fish, raised in rice paddies, and often kept alive by some pretty wicked, not safe for human consumption, antibiotics. These are wild - albeit subject to whatever contamination they get from the Gulf waters.
