Israel has just taken another massive bite out of the Palestinian West Bank homeland. Britain has condemned the land grab, so has Washington.
As for Canada, "what land grab?" As Harper reminds us, we don't practice sociology. It took Mulcair and Trudeau to demonstrate that we don't do integrity either, not when we're suckholing for votes.

.. the silence of Harper & braying mouthpiece Baird
betrays what cowards they really are
spineless grandstanders, on our dime
One either agrees with & condones this latest landgrab
or one sees it for what it is.. travesty
Those two climbed a fence & perched there
waiting for their next safe opportunity
Not a shred of vestigial spine between the two of them
I didn't expect anything else from Harper, Sal. My disappointment lies with the opposition leaders who follow in Harper's shoes.
I don't understand why Trudeau and Mulcair are not speaking out against what Israel's doing. Are the political gains more important then their principles? I find this really disturbing. It's gutless and cowardly.Palestinians deserve better.
Pam, I think their silence tells you a great deal about both leaders' integrity and what we can expect of them when they have to deal with something politically risky. It's an eye opener for those trying to evaluate these unknown quantities but I suspect it won't make any difference to the "anyone but Harper" crowd.
I was a lifelong Liberal voter from PET's first election until Iggy took over. Now I'm quite comfortable with the Greens. At least that allows me to vote for something instead of having to hold my nose to vote against someone.
