We like to find fault in our politicians, especially those we don't support. By and large though, Canada's pols aren't a bad bunch - provided, of course, that my party is governing.
A reminder of this comes in a report from Britain's "The Independent" that their MPs are gunning for a 66% pay raise. Apparently British backbenchers have written to the agency that determines their pay demanding a starting wage of a mere 100,000 pounds per annum, being what they claim is the average income of a GP physician.
