A Right Royal Smackdown for Rex

Last Friday Globe & Mail columnist Rex Murphy wrote a scathing piece against those who condemn global warming deniers.

This Rhodes Scholar revealed just how little that can mean by trying to contend those who challenge global warming deniers are exploiting, somehow cheapening the Holocaust.

He went on to ask "who will undertake the difficult task of sifting the real science from the alarmist advocacy?" Just another stab at rehashing the thoroughly discredited "science isn't in" argument.

Three professors responded to Murphy's inane column, all pointing his pointed head to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which, according to U of T professor Ted Shepherd, "brings together the expertise of hundreds of climate scientists to dispassionately and critically assess the peer-reviewed scientific literature."

There was a time Murphy wouldn't have written such nonsense. His best days, it appears, are well behind him.

Do you think he'll have the minerals to post a retraction or a reversal?

I doubt he does. He is becoming quite jaded as he gets older.

Cool...Rex disagree's so his good days must be behind him!! Disagree and your senile??? Cant wait till someone calls him Un-Canadian for having the balls to question Koyoto. Bloggers really are amazing...you have the unbelievable freedom of the internet to comment and question, but, someone comment or question something other than what you believe...and your old and jaded!!
Maybe Rex is smarter and wiser and remembers like I..in the early 70's being warned of Global Cooling!! Poor old jaded me.
