It's been a while but it seems George Monbiot's ordeal with prostate cancer and the brutal surgery that ensued may be over. I won't excerpt it. You can
read it for yourself here.
He concludes: "I look forward to returning next week to the topics that still frighten me. The argumentative old git is back.

In 2013, I was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer at the tender age of 47. A year later I had "heroic" life saving surgery. Five years later I am cancer free after originally being told I had about 11 months to live.
It changes you in a lot of ways. Hopefully, Monbiot will make the absolute most of this 2nd chance and proceed to really give hell to those in power who deserve it. After all, what's the worst than can happen--he gets cancer?
Well put, "Bill." Thanks.
