A Parliamentary Reality Check From the Other Side of the Pond

She was elected to represent Birmingham Yardley in 2013, the outspoken Labour MP, Jess Phillips.  A tad cynical, on occasion a bit vulgar, Ms. Phillips here explains how parliamentarians get reduced to bobbleheads.

Her cynicism doesn't hold any weight with me. I'm sure it's not easy to be misunderstood when you tell the truth, but you don't have to be a politician for that to happen.Guess what? The battle for truth, especially in the political world of almost complete deception is not won over night, but the truth is worth fighting for. If she doesn't believe that the truth no longer matters, then she should leave politics.

In that case we would have a Government of about three people!
Most politicians are opportunists.
The ones that are not , regardless of political affiliation, are sitting in the shadows plugging away looking after the interests of the community.

Jess Philips is a starting point but not as yet a movement with many similarities to Trump and Sanders.
The world is pissed off with the status quo and wishes that the politicians
would offer more and more handouts to the differing political party memberships.
No party will ever gain power with the awful truth that we will all have to live with less to survive.
