Apropos of my post yesterday about how the public are being methodically conditioned, "tuned up", to be compliant to neoliberalism, the US Center for Public Integrity spent the mid-term elections tracking advertising in the federal and state elections and state ballot initiatives.
Their results suggests that we no longer get the government we deserve. Today we get the government the highest bidder backs. And we're surprised to discover we're degenerating into illiberal democracy?
