What Is Not an Endangered Species?
What is not an endangered species? Try Billionaires. It seems they're doing just fine. Forbes reckons the world now sports 1,426 (USD) billionaires. That's up by 210 over the last twelve months, four per week. Besides, who wants to be a mere mega-multi-millionaire anyway?
By the way, if you want to join their club, here's an investment tip - missiles. Aviation Week reports there are big things in store for the missile industry, thanks to Obama's pivot to Asia.
For the past decade the missile factories have been pumping out masses of relatively cheap, ground attack missiles, such as the Hellfire, suited to eliminating pesky farmers and wedding parties.
Now the Pentagon is going upscale, looking for far more expensive, longer-range missiles more suited to taking out Chinese ships, subs and aircraft. The future is looking pretty rosy for the missile boys.
