The sky is falling, it's the end of society as we've known it. Barley prices are poised to go through the roof and every beer lover knows what that means!
According to the the Associated Press, barley prices in December were up 24% and production had declined 15% over a year earlier. Drought in Australia and the US midwest is blamed - but hey, that's global warming too, isn't it?
