Robin Cook Gets the Last Word

Former British Foreign Minister, Robin Cook, was best known for being the only member of Tony Blair's cabinet to resign to protest the Iraq war before the actual invasion. The outspoken minister gave Blair fits.

Upon Cooks's death, his family decided he should be remembered for the stand he took and had this epitaph engraved on his tombstone:

"I may not have succeeded in halting the war, but I did secure the right of Parliament to decide on war." And so he did.
